A lifelong love of quotes has led me to collect daily messages that I subscribe to over the internet. These collections provide the initial spark for creating a new poster.

I have long been a follower of the words and works of Esther and Jerry Hicks and their teachings of Abraham. Several years ago I discovered Mike Dooley, Mary Morrissey, Michael Beckwith, Marianne Williamson, Wayne Dyer and many other inspiring teachers. These sources of New Thought provide the framework of words that I work from.

Being a visual learner, I am inspired to make these words into a picture so the text has more impact. As I read over daily quotes, a new set of words catches my attention and begins the process of turning words into pictures.

The next step is locating art that exemplifies the meaning of the words. And finally, the setting of the type and finding the fonts that best showcase the words in a pictorial setting – a visual inspiration!

Meet Anjela Dale

I am a Graphic Artist who designed and sold needlepoint and cross stitch patterns during the 70’s and 80’s when I was raising my 3 children. In the late 80’s I started using a computer to design advertising for a Pennsylvania newspaper. In my last year with the publication, I also created online advertising.

During those years my children have grown up and they now live around the continent. My elder daughter, Janine is a neuroscientist living in Montreal, Canada. My son, Jeffrey is an electrical engineer, living in Plano, TX. And my youngest daughter, Evan is a teacher living in Fountain Valley, CA

I have since retired and am enjoying life in California where I love art, cats, crafts, classic rock, MAC computers, a good romance or mystery, and an exciting movie. A day in the city or an afternoon at the beach is my idea of a great getaway. 

I have attended weekend seminars with Jean Houston for many years and continue with Landmark Education’s many courses in possibility living and personal transformation. I also study the Law of Attraction through the works of Abraham-Hicks, Mike Dooley, Mary Morrissey, Michael Beckwith. Marianne Williamson, and Wayne Dyer. All these studies have helped me deepen my love and understanding of this journey called life.
